Schools taking the Plunge ...
Once we know your school is interested and a Team Captain has been appointed, email us at unifysode@gmail.com. We will help you set up your school team so that all you have to do is register and join the team.
We will also send you a Cool Schools "Tool Kit" that will include copies of posters to hang in your school, take-away cards to recruit others, and more detailed instructions, suggestions and resources so you can easily and successfully get your school to be a Cool School.
COOL SCHOOLS at the Lewes Polar Bear Plunge is a way for your school to make a difference by taking a chilly dip with other members of your school ... and then continue to make a difference back at your school long after you dry off!
Now in its 21st year, the Plunge is an annual fundraiser in which participants raise money by gathering pledges. Each member of the plunge team will raise a minimum donation of $50.
Be a part of the Cool Schools challenge! Cool Schools is an initiative that allows local schools to demonstrate their school spirit while showing their support for Special Olympics Delaware athletes by taking the plunge.
Form a Cool School plunge team and chill out with thousands of Polar Bears at Rehoboth Beach – all for a great cause. It's a great way to show just how cool your school is, earn service learning credits and help raise awareness for Special Olympics Delaware.
